Longview is 60 miles West of Shreveport, LA.
and 120 miles East of Dallas, TX.
In Longview, Kirby is located 2 miles north from Interstate
20, at 809 South
Eastman Road in Longview, TX.
Business Hours Are: Monday Through
Friday 8 am To 5 pm
Central Standard Time.
We are not open on Saturday or Sunday
and therefore cannot respond to your e-mail, phone
questions or acknowledge orders on those
days. We will respond on the next
business day following inquiry if it was received after 5
pm.
Payment Policy
METHODS OF PAYMENT we prefer -- PAYPAL, VISA, MASTERCARD ,
DISCOVER, Cashiers Check or Money Orders.
Generally credit cards are not charged until the order is
shipped.
All credit card are pre-authorized in the amount of
the order at the time you place your order. You will be told
if
your order requires a different arrangement.
Orders paid by checks or Paypal will not be
shipped until funds have cleared your account.

Items shipped within Texas are subject to 8.25% sales tax.
All customers
outside of Texas are responsible for their STATE
and LOCAL sales tax when applicable. Kirby is also licensed
to do business in Arkansas, Lousianna and Oklahoma. Sales
tax is required in some cases.
Warranty & Return Policy
New products sold by Kirby come with the standard manufacturer's
warranty.
Follow the directions of the manufacturer's warranty concerning
service and replacement guarantees. Kirby will assist in areas
where the manufacturer
allows us to do so.
Return Claims: All requests for returns on NEW products
must be made within 30 days.
Call 1-800-877- 5472, before you make a return.
We will give you a RA number and
explain your options. We do not
honor returns without prior
approval for the return.
Stocked items are eligible for a full credit or refund
if the return was due to Kirby error.
Return of supplies and accessories made because of
customer order error
will be charged a minimum of 20% restocking
fee and freight charges both ways.
All charges wil be deducted
before a credit or refund is issued
20% minimum restocking fee will be deducted from the refund
on all returned equipment.
Sorry, Special order items cannot be returned.
Equipment and products sold as USED
may not be returned.
Approved returns must be received in unused condition and
be in original
packaging. Customer must prepay return shipping.

We want to be as flexible and helpful as we can be concerning
returns.

Our Policy: Personal information will remain confidential.
We use the Paypal secured shopping cart to process all on-line
orders. We
only gather personal information we need to complete
the sale. Information is
never sold or shared with others.
Our server is behind an electronic internal fire wall
and is not directly connected to the internet.
Your private information is available only to our authorized
computers.
Shipping And Warehouse Pickup Policy
Kirby uses UPS and FedX for package delivery.
We use best available price common
carrier freight lines...
And ...We delivery by Kirby delivery
trucks within our trade area. Portions of
Texas,
Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
If your order can be shipped via our Kirby trucks we will
assume responsibility
for damage if any should occur. Our
policy is that simple.
Kirby accepts no responsibility for damage to merchandise
after it leaves our warehouse or that of our suppliers, on
common freight carriers or with package delivery companies.
We intend to be helpful during the process... But filing of
damage claims with
the freight carrier is the sole responsibility
of the customer. Keep In Mind:
Damage claims may take up to
120 days or longer to resolve.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DAMAGE TO MERCHANDISE MUST BE
DOCUMENTED WITH
FREIGHT CARRIER BEFORE DEPARTING YOUR LOCATION AND IMMEDIATELY
REPORTED TO FREIGHT CARRIER™S "
CLAIMS DEPARTMENT".
Insurance is NOT available for USED items shipped via freight
lines.
Insurance IS available for USED items shipped with FedEx or
UPS, for an
additional fee.
Most items purchased are available for pick up at our Longview
warehouse.
Our friendly warehouse staff will be happy to assist you with
the loading of
your vehicle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SECURING
THEIR OWN PICKUP LOAD AT OUR DOCK. Due to limited
warehouse
space, we request that you make arrangements to pick up you
item(s) at your earliest opportunity.
Used Equipment Policy“No Internet Sales TAX?” True / False?
True. No sales tax on orders shipped beyond Texas from Longview, Texas.
True. Sales tax is charged for all orders staying inside of Texas.
True. Sales tax may apply on equipment orders dropped shipped from mfg, warehouses outside of Texas to non-resellers.
True. You may register your resale or tax exempt ID with us and tax will not be charged.
Our policy is to sell "USABLE", USED EQUIPMENT. Therefore... Kirby
will have the used equipment tested before it is offered for sale.
We will do this with refrigeration and electrical items
to insure that when they left our dock they do work properly.
You will be informed if the item fails any critical test. We will let you
know what repairs need to be made and you will have the
right to refuse to complete the transaction.
Test running of the sold equipment takes time.
We ask you to give us 72 hours to ship your used merchandise.
All used equipment is sold as is and without any warranty as to life of
service or fitness for the buyers purpose.
No refunds or returns on used equipment will be made or accepted.
NOTE: We DO NOT disassemble used equipment prior to sale. Therefore
some residual grease and grime may remain.
Despite our best efforts, NO GUARANTEE is made that the
equipment you receive will arrive in "clean as new" condition.
SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT: As solder
ages, it becomes brittle. (Solder holds refrigeration lines together.) When
older refrigeration is shipped on a truck, it usually bounces quite a bit. The
bouncing and vibrations can cause the brittle solder to allow a refrigerant leak.
This happens occasionally. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have the
refrigerate replace by a local source at the buyers expense
Consider This...
Kirby sells heavy duty commercial equipment.
We recommend the buyer have it installed... And maintained
regularly by a professional experienced refrigeration technician or other
speciality service tech where this is prudent.
We at Kirby will answer any questions you may have concerning proper
installation and operation of any unit prior to you installing it.
All used equipment is sold FOB our dock in Longview, Texas 75602. The
seller accepts no responsibility for the item after it leaves our dock.
Good To Know... Ice machines must be
kept clean in order to run properly.
When the expensive evaporator plate cakes with mineral deposits from dirty
water, you will get less ice production. It takes longer to remove heat from
water... Thus build up makes all components of the machine work harder and shortens the expected life of the machine. It is important that you use an in-line
water filter and regularly clean the evaporator plate with a commercial grade
ice machine cleaning chemical to protect your investment.

You can buy similar products in your area if you choose not to buy from Kirby.
Fortunately, most parts on ice machine are generic and can be purchased
from a refrigeration supply parts store. But ...Manufacturers may have
discontinued certain brand specific components, therefore it is prudent to
protect the original equipment with proper maintenance recommended above.

We cannot fully guarantee the technical accuracy of our descriptions of
